Second H5 Avian Influenza in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc

The Feather Board Command Centre (FBCC) was made aware of symptoms consistent with H5 avian influenza (HPAI) in a second poultry flock in the Municipality of Strathroy- Caradoc. CLICK HERE to access the 10 km buffered FBCC biosecurity advisory map

CFIA Primary Control Zones
CFIA will establish a new primary control zone or amend an existing Primary Control Zone (PCZ), in the area where the disease has been identified. Use the following link to access CFIA’s maps, which will be updated: Avian Influenza Control Zones.

Please ensure your implement heightened biosecurity immediately!

CFIA has posted movement control permissions. Please access this information to determine which type of permit you may require. If you are required to submit a movement permission request, please do so a minimum of seven (7) days in advance of the planned movement.
